Silicon Mountain Memory to Make a Donation for Every Memory Module Sold in December to Feed The Children

Donation will provide basic items to children and families in the United States who are suffering from hunger, poverty and natural disasters

BOULDER, Colo. -- Dec. 16, 2004 -- Silicon Mountain Memory Inc., a leading direct supplier of memory solutions for computers and peripherals, will make a donation for every memory module sold during December to Feed The Children.

Feed The Children operates a fleet of more than 50 trucks which carry food and basic necessities to locations within the 48 continental United States and the District of Columbia. The goal of the Silicon Mountain Memory program is to raise enough money to underwrite one entire truckload of food and personal care items pre-packaged in individual boxes for direct distribution to individuals and families.

"The holiday season is a time of giving and sharing, and we're pleased that we are able to assist Feed The Children in their outstanding work. By working with local relief agencies, Feed The Children will ensure this assistance reaches those with the greatest need. We're pleased we are able to support them during this time of year," said Tré Cates, Silicon Mountain Memory CEO.

The specific contents of each truck varies depending upon currently available goods, but each contains a selection of food and other basic products. Family food boxes from Feed The Children weigh approximately 25 pounds and contain supplemental foods for a family of four for approximately one week. Feed The Children combines its efforts with other relief agencies to provide critically needed food, medical supplies, and other emergency items.

"We are very grateful to have the support of so many - including Silicon Mountain Memory - at this time of year," said Larry Jones, president and founder of Feed The Children. "The holidays can be difficult for families who are struggling, and such support helps us make this a more joyous time for many."

About Feed The Children
Founded in 1979 by Larry and Frances Jones, Feed The Children is a Christian international, non-profit relief organization headquartered in Oklahoma City, Okla. The mission of Feed The Children is to deliver food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty or natural disaster. Last year, Feed The Children shipped 83 million pounds of food and other essentials to children and their families in all 50 states and in 62 foreign countries. Worldwide, the charity supplemented more than 509,000 meals a day.

Silicon Mountain Memory Becomes Qualified Memory Solutions Supplier to Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium

Contract allows nation's fastest-growing direct memory solutions provider to more easily sell to more than 80 higher-education institutions in Massachusetts

BOULDER, Colo. -- August 31, 2004-- Silicon Mountain Memory Inc., a leading direct supplier of memory solutions for computers and peripherals, announced today they have been selected as a memory solutions supplier for the Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium (MHEC), which serves more than 80 higher-education institutions throughout the state.

MHEC identifies potential suppliers, like Silicon Mountain Memory, on behalf of their membership in a number of areas of purchasing need, including appliances, educational supplies, furniture, lab supplies and equipment, maintenance contracts, telecom/networking and high-tech equipment. Member schools are then able to take advantage of a streamlined bid and purchasing process with these pre-approved vendors.

Since MHEC subscribes to the Massachusetts public bid process, this contract makes it much easier for member schools do business with Silicon Mountain Memory.

"Educational institutions are facing tight budgets all over the country, and additional memory is often an outstanding way for these groups to extend their technology investment," said Silicon Mountain Memory CEO Tré Cates. "In many cases, computer performance can be enhanced at a fraction of the cost of a new system, allowing the equipment to remain in service and function at a dramatically improved level," he added.

By becoming a certified MHEC supplier, Silicon Mountain Memory is able to make it easier for MHEC members to do business with them. Since all MHEC contracts exceed the requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts public/state bid process, members are able to work with Silicon Mountain Memory and reduce or eliminate the need for additional bidding outside of the MHEC contracts.

Lange brings more than 12 years of varied experience to this position. Silicon Mountain Memory Adds Staff, Expands Boulder Offices

Sales staff additions continue after acquisition, and new offices provide room for ongoing company growth

BOULDER, Colo. -- May 12, 2004 -- Silicon Mountain Memory Inc., a leading direct supplier of memory solutions for computers and peripherals, has moved its company headquarters to accommodate its growing business and added seven new members to its sales staff.

The company recently completed a relocation to 4755 Walnut Street in Boulder, a move which provides an additional 3,000 square feet over their previous space on Prairie Avenue. The additional space was needed to accommodate growth from both the company's recent acquisition of Super PC's Wintel business, as well as continued organic growth.

"Our world-class quality and customer service - coupled with our direct pricing - has enabled us to grow our company while many other tech firms struggled," said Silicon Mountain Memory CEO Tré Cates. "Our new home enables us to continue to expand through 2004 and beyond."

Silicon Mountain Memory has also expanded its sales staff by more than 30 percent in order to better serve corporate, educational and government demand for memory products. Increasing the memory capacity of a desktop or laptop computer, server or many peripheral devices dramatically improves performance and can extend an organizations investment in information technology. In many cases, it is not necessary to replace a computer or server once the memory capacity has been upgraded in order to efficiently run today's memory-intensive applications. As a result, the demand for Silicon Mountain's memory products continues to increase.

Silicon Mountain Memory, Inc. Provides Real-Time, Customized Pricing on GSA Schedule

Boulder, Colo. -- Feb. 5, 2003 -- Silicon Mountain Memory, Inc. is proud to announce the completion of its first full year as a direct awardee of a General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule Contract.

As the only RAM manufacturer providing real-time, customized pricing on GSA Schedule, Silicon Mountain Memory, Inc. is in a unique position to provide best value products to federal agencies.

The Federal Supply Services (FSS) of GSA maintains a number of supply schedule contracts that simplify the procurement of products and services by federal agencies. The FSS Schedule Contracts are only awarded to contractors who demonstrate their products and services are sold in significant quantities in the commercial market at prices and under terms that provide value to the Government.

"Silicon Mountain Memory, Inc. is extremely proud of the fact that it is the only certified RAM manufacturer with a FSS Schedule Contract that provides real-time, competitive pricing to its government customers. The standard Schedule Contract locks pricing in until formally modified by the GSA. Given that there is always a time delay between price changes and agreement between the parties, the government may not always be getting the best value or the contractor may be incurring undue risk," explains Tré Cates, President of Silicon Mountain Memory. "Through diligent effort and creative thinking, SMM was able to break the mold, reinvent what a GSA contract can be and provide the Federal government with administrative efficiency combined with market driven pricing on every transaction."

Scott Needleman, Director of the immixGovernment division of the immix-Group, a government business consulting firm providing GSA Schedule contract management services, added, "The Silicon Mountain Memory Schedule Contract represents a significant value for the government and uniquely provides an efficient, easy to use, best value for SMM's government customers. We were very pleased to have been a part of this innovative contract negotation."

Silicon Mountain Memory is an industry leading manufacturer and direct provider of Random Access Memory (RAM). By delivering the highest quality, lifetime warranted memory on the market directly to corporate, government, education and individual customers at the most competitive prices available, Silicon Mountain Memory continues to expand its market share and sales volume.

We felt that our customers would be better served through the acquisition by Silicon Mountain Memory than by any other alternative."

Silicon Mountain Memory has committed to making the transition for Digital Memory's customers both smooth and beneficial. During the transition period, customers may contact their new Account Managers at Silicon Mountain Memory using either the old Digital Memory 1-800 telephone number or Silicon Mountain Memory's telephone numbers: (888) 745-6866 and (303) 938-1155 or by visiting our web site at www.smmdirect.com.

"As we focus on maintaining Silicon Mountain Memory's unmatched year-to-year growth in a depressed memory market, acquisitions of competitors and the market share they represent are a necessary addition to our existing business model and an integral part of Silicon Mountain Memory's continued growth," notes Tré Cates, President of Silicon Mountain Memory.
