Volunteering
A volunteer program encourages employees to take one half paid day per month to serve and develop relationships within the community. Some organizations Silicon Mountain employees have contributed time to include Meals on Wheels, Boulder Valley Humane Society, Boulder County Safehouse, Shared Parenting Program and the Woman's Wilderness Institute.
In December 2004 the company, as well as a number of Silicon Mountain employees, donated enough money to Feed The Children to purchase an entire semi-truck of needed supplies and food to deliver locally to the Boulder community.
In December of 2005 and 2006, we launched a campaign to raise enough money to buy an ark of animals for Heifer International. These animals offer hope to families worldwide who are poor and hungry by enabling them to secure food and a source of dependable income.
